Deus Ex: The God's Machinery
The religious ideals of new and old, are, ultimately, whether we want to admit it or not, made and shaped by the thoughts of man. Are we so superstitious to believe that spirit beings told us about these inconceivable thoughts that helped to promote civil obedience and governmental submission? Ideas like this would have to be generated from a conceptual basis that is primitive and animistic at best. Shamanism is a belief system that explains it all to clearly, stating that spirits control the activity of humans. There's a hidden flipside to this concept, however. Without the human vessels, the Gods would simply have no vehicle. For the Gods to fertilize their ideas, they would have to inseminate the minds of men and women. A classic philosophical debate then rages in my mind over such a valid theory as this: what came first, the chicken or the egg?
Last check, there's only two types of explanations for the creation of the cosmos and the living beings: a religious one, like Christians or Pagans would believe, or a scientific one, like the big bang theory and evolution. At one point, these ideas, were, whether you accept it or not, married. The ancient Egyptians, an African culture that existed Aeons ago, were a people with out of place technology and artifacts. Some people theorize that the Egyptians had more advanced technology than we even do now! How could this be, as they have not lived for thousands of years! The answer, however, is quite simply only too clear, and it comes from their monarch, their dynastic figure: the Pharaoh. They viewed their king as selected by the Gods, a living incarnation of the Gods like Osiris, Horus, Set, and other beings that sought to seek the throne. Osiris, the dead king, Horus, the new king, and Set, the evil brother of Osiris, who sought to ursurp him. Each was an ambitious being of both militant might and sorcerous power. They were so heralded by their people that they were held in their minds as Gods. Were they human, Gods, both, or something entirely different than what we realize? The Pharaoh, was definitely the God's Machinery, a vehicle used to carry the spirit of their Lord throughout their lands and rule over their people. Why, they even believed similar worked for their king after birth! The idea of mummification was more than a bodily preservation technique. It was a technique used to provide a vehicle for the pharaoh to ascend to the afterlife in his tomb. It was said that his sister Isis, who knew of great magick learned from Ra, the Sun God, was planning on reviving her husband using a secret moon ritual utilizing the power of the Wedjat, the eye of her son, Horus, that had been sacrificed. This very dark ritual points to a spirit, be it God or demon, that had possessed king after king, as the Deus Ex that controlled a very powerful and influential empire. One must think after this realization: is each kingdom influenced by the God's machinery, including the United States Of America, with their long line of presidents? This points, mysteriously, at several Illuminati Order believed concepts, that they were said to use to control each land throughout all of the Aeons.
Whether we want to admit it or not, there is something behind both scientific and religious beliefs. The medievil alchemists had a good theory, believing that science has a direct synergy with religion, and, thus, their line of philosophy. No man can know everything, though, right? Only God could, but I know each person that has ever lived and died has had a different conception of God. Who are we to judge someone merely because of what they believe? H.P. Lovecraft once said that "An intelligent man knows there is little difference between the real and unreal." We can dig through the trash looking for God all we want, but maybe we need to understand that God is golden treasure, and true treasure is where the heart is. Maybe this world needs less of religion, or some universal form of religious control like an one world religion. It would make things easier and oh so less confusing. Wouldn't it be better in the end, don't you think? After all, isn't it up to you to decide, not someone else, be them your parents, a fallen angel, a lying preacher, or a deceiving devil?
