Elves And Humans
Many people have theories on the actual existence of elves. Although many perceive them as fiction, it was an ancient belief that elves were indeed real. Both Christians and Pagans believed in Elves, with many of the beliefs originating from old Norse myth. Today, I want to generate a theory for you to scrutinize. Please keep in mind that all of these claims are nothing more than inspirational musings based off of my own speculation.
I believe that paradise, or Eden, had very few inhabitants that were capable of reproduction. I believe that there was these people capable of reproduction in the later stages of Avalon: Adam, Cain, Eve, Lilith, and Seth. Eve and Lilith would be the mothers of the two races, one being Elves, and the other humans. Eve and Lilith would of course only have the ability to be pregnant for so long, and would choose a favorable mate to their choosing. Eve, being the truly evil and cunning heroine, would choose the ambitious Cain. It's my belief they would create the fallen race, humans. Lilith, being the dominant sassy brute, one of born witchcraft might, would choose God's favored, Seth, conceiving the magickally inclined elves. The elves would feel sorrow for their abused mother Lilith, and seek to injure and molest humanity. The descendants of the repentant Eve would then seek to follow God, as the humans would be cursed by their own image. These two races would then engage in an ancient feud because of the grave injustice done to the first human, Lilith, Goddess Of The Dark Moon.
People like J.R.R. Tolkien and countless others were inspired by the legends of elves. Fantasy works have always been a home to the likes of elves. Are elves real, inhabiting our earth alongside humans in secret? Were they a hidden race that was bred within paradise, the forbidden kingdom of Eden? Have we only been deceived into thinking they are myth, as they are some sort of host for a demonic plague? I'm not one to buy into Christian myth, nor create one, but I couldn't help but give birth to this spin on the bible. We know that out of all books, the bible has always been the one most open for debate. It's easy to see that Santa Claus was a version of Satan, with is evil elves as his demons.
It was said that the elves were the angels that refused to follow God or Satan, being casted to earth as fallen angels. It's exciting and depressing to see what christianity has done to shape other popular myth. I don't believe there was ever a need for one montheistic god that would sumerize what was countless pagan gods. I like my pagan myth. It gives me several heroes to look up to. With Christian myth, I find only one hero who I could never look up to. Woe be to Christians, the ones who tried desperately to erase the Pagan Goddess.
In closing, I believe that Lilith was not a Christian deity but instead a Pagan deity. It's safe to say the Jewish perverted and demonized for their own purpose. Jewish people have always bigoted women, and it's a shame how misled their religious ideals are. If Lilith and Seth did mate, I believe that they would have indeed made the Nephilim, or the elves. Elves and Nephilim would be, of course, the same. Their representation as fallen angels or hybrid aliens is clearly seen within myth. Elves do exist, if only in the realm of fantasy. Here in earth, though? Like all things, that's up for you to decide.
