Imagined Life In Avalon
Avalon is more than our form of paradise. It’s where our lives will finally begin. Our place is one founded in our body, our mind, and our soul. The concept of the kindred soul obeys no rule or belief system, for it is divine in its own merit. Being a hermit provides a unique experience, yet I’m afraid a group of people of similar interests provides a much more stable foundation. You do not need to worry about exclusive behavior in Avalon, as all are welcome. The great transformation has planted a seed in all of our rocky hearts. We must grow our bonds now so that our spirits can soar, onward towards the mythic lands of our creation.
Our lives sometimes seem imaginary. No matter how ordinary our lives become, there is always our desire to run away from what can seem a harsh reality. Everyone participates in some form of escapism. The human mind suffers if it does not find a healthy way to cope with stress. Actual magick has a theatrical side to it, where the performance of it lies within the actual presentation. Magick is not boring, and all aspiring magicians, witches, sorcerers, druids, shamans, and more should study acting. A fun and easy way of developing your acting skills is cos-playing and role-playing. It’s not something strange, and many would really enjoy participating in it. Like magick, acting relies on emotion, feeling, and, of course, imagination. An imaginative interpretation of a character is simply delightful, now, wouldn’t you say? We strive to be the best player n the show, and have an absolute blast while doing it, for that’s what Avalon is all about. To have fun, and grow, as a secret, well-knit group. One day, I hope we can be called the world’s best kept secret. We can dream, now, can’t we? Life isn’t any fun when it’s ordinary, and I’ll act out my fantasies if I have to, knowing that life is truly what you make of it.
Reality and fantasy intersect more often than we think. Some people suffer from distortion, and some distort reality intentionally. I believe many people, if not all, participate in some form of role-playing. Role-playing gives us a form of coping that is always to our own personal pleasure. We don’t exist primarily for others, but more for ourselves. That’s why a dramatic production is great, as all players in the cast support one another. Drama feels good, as long as it is intended. It’s the petty trivial things in life that drag down our realized emotions. I mean, who doesn’t like a good movie? Likewise, those people who try to make you angry are some of the people you simply don’t want to be around. It’s funny how everything in this world seems to be a two-edged sword. We can’t cry, be upset, or even become slightly angry. Society does not understand emotions. Society also expects many things out of us, which are mostly unfair. We can’t be who they want us to be, simply because they will not let us be ourselves. Cast your worries aside, my mate, we’re setting sail. Avalon isn’t far away.
Have I tempted you with my honey-coated words? Is your dream mine, too? Do we have enough in common to make a union, deep down inside our souls, our hearts? We don’t have to simply drag alongside what is fate. If I’ve convinced you of the existence of Avalon, direct a thought towards me with our password, “I want in.” That’s it. Pretty unbelievable, huh? Give it a try, though. If it’s simply imaginative, you should have no problem giving it a try. Who knows, it might work, and you may join the telepathic group that is known by one grand name, Avalon.
