When we begin our lives, we do so with very little help. Some have good parents, but the majority of us don't. They provide for us, if they can, and teach us only a few basic things. We are thrusted into life without any real knowledge of what is expected of us as adults. We are sold an idea of a spouse, children, and a job, but whatever else we are to do is up to anyone's guess. Life is a confusing place for any person, regardless of how much experience we have. Haven't you always wished that someone would tell you what to do in your time of duress?
A spiritual mentor can help you with just about anything. What exactly is a spiritual mentor? It isn't a religious figure, if that is what you think. A spiritual mentor is something we select all on our own. This idea of a spiritual mentor indicates that you are learning from a spiritual source. That can be anything from a blogger, to me, to an inspiring character from stories or history. These spirits become our mentors, lighting up the dark when are lost. They provide us illumination in our mind, challenging us to finish the race. A spiritual mentor always manages to touch our hearts, even in our most solemn of hours. We are here to make something out of whatever time we have. How can we expect to do that all on our own?
A spiritual mentor is something that few can even fathom such the concept of. People, however, hang onto their flimsy image of God. Whatever God is to them, they believe it will bring them council and guidance. This concept is merely an indirect way of believing in a spiritual mentor. Instead of believing, one can gain great power and strength from something they personally believe in, we believe in an all powerful and all knowing source. I'm afraid this idea of God may be more of a control tool than anything else. There is one underlying factor we can draw from this conclusion though, and that is people all over the world believe in spirits or things of spiritual nature.
Do you trust that the angels of heaven or the spiritual concepts of an age long forgotten can inspire you? Can you learn from the mistakes of past civilizations to help light your way through the dark trail that you dare to follow? You can make a difference in this life, and spiritual mentors are everywhere you may go, waiting to instruct you and hold your hand as you go along. You do not need to fear, as fear will leave you as the spirits temper your soul. For all of those with skeptical nature as to the true existence of spirits, I will ask you one thing. Consider the good moods inspired in all during key times of the year, like during Thanksgiving. Do you understand this American holiday brings many families together, no matter what issues the family is going through in life? That is the spirit of Thanksgiving at work, with all of its jubilant grace. For all those elsewhere in the world, think of any sort of celebration that is festive and fun for all to participate in, like Cinco De Mayo, for example. Once you consider the facts you will fully understand how much influence the spirits have in this world.
Spirits exist, and so do spiritual mentors. Find one today, and get your life on track. You have every reason to believe in the power of the mentorship that comes from spiritual beings. Whatever this means to you, I challenge you to go and find that spiritual mentor, as they will bring you great wisdom and strength.
