Spiritual Healing Techniques

Healing has been a topic amongst the sick and healer alike since the dawn of time, as pain and ailment has always existed alongside the human condition. One has sought to cure the physical body alone until man had found out about another part of the human whole: the spirit. Once man fostered belief in the spirit, they quickly developed belief in the spiritual condition affecting the physical condition, as evident in both biblical times and ancient times in places of enlightenment such as Egypt and India. After developing belief of the spiritual body and the physical body being entwined, they brought forth new ways to heal a body spiritually, using techniques surrounding religious activities, spiritual consciousness and enlightenment. These techniques are still used today, and are widely believed to work.

Many techniques throughout the ages have been developed and used to heal in spiritual ways. Acupuncture and meditation are two of the more widely known techniques that are seen as unconventional yet effective treatment for both the spirit and body. Some of the spiritual healing techniques involve physical exercise, such as Yoga and Tai Chi. These light stretching exercises combine physical and spiritual exercises, one being a flexibility exercise and the other one comprising of light meditative martial arts type manuevers. These exercises were developed at the heights of spiritual consciousness in many areas of Asia and go hand-in-hand with meditation and breathing exercises. These techniques were developed with the divine consciousness ideal in mind, or that the spirit is a form of divine being, and the heavens are full of divine beings. The divine being is also present in a human being, and when the divine human spirit being the physical body becomes corrupt also. The spirit requires special attendance for the healing technique, as it cannot become healed the same way a physical body can.

Those who believe in the Judao-Christian God believe that demons cause physical illness, as evident in the accounts of Jesus’ life known as the four gospels. The demons caused  blindness, illness, deafness, and mental and emotional depravity to those who fell into spiritual world and sin.  A healer of a religious following, in this case Jesus and his disciples, were needed to heal the people afflicted the demons. Many other regions believe in the existence of demons and the spiritual and physical body poisoning they cause in humans. Even the pagans believe in demons and have ways of expulsing them!

Spiritual healing techniques are also studied by natural healers who use things such as herbs and aromatic therapy to cure in many unique ways. This is rapidly developing in our world economy and has even a footing in the United States now. Won't you try to heal your spirit? Won't you find a way to believe in the spirit’s existence and develop a way of relieving it to keep your body healthy? There is no need to think your body is just a place of dwelling with no inner conscious that thrives off of spiritual food. It is also foolhardy to believe that there is no type of recovery for those of spritual diseases, such as addiction. We are in the 21st century now, and you can easily find a spiritual healer or self-healing techniques to suit your needs. Grasp onto spiritual healing today and alleviate your soul.
