They have a range that can be as subtle as a certain method of thought to as complex as a traumatic episode in the past. It is impossible to put one label on what influences our responses to stress, but we will be covering a few of the big ones right here. Environment As A Cause Of Stress
We gain most stresses from our job, home, and other environments. A positive environment can often eliminate or alleviate stress. A negative environment, however, can make our stress levels rise and respond in inappropriate ways. A job environment can increase our stress, and an unstable home enviroment can make for a deadly situation for our mental well being. We should never let our daily stress transfer to our home lives. One of the major determining factors for job related stress is the inability to perform to our boss’ expectations or even things such as lack of vacation days and wage cuts. We love our families and the last thing in the world we want is to not be able to take care of them.
Our home environments can be stressful. Noisy neighbors, a demanding family, or a lack of a peaceful environment can put our stress through the roof. This determining factor behind stress must be dealt with in a careful and positive manner to insure our stress levels remain low. We often live in a place where we have families or room mates and we must all be considerate to each others’ needs. Additionally, us and all of our neighbors should be nothing but civil, friendly, and respectful of each other. Good etiquette like this will enable our responses to stress to be positive. If we do not follow these common expectations of us, our responses to stress will always be negative and destructive.
Determining Factors To Stress Responses Involving Our Social Lives
Many people desire companionship, be it from the opposite or same gender. We want to have acquaintances and friends often outside of family. Many younger people are simply not mentally ready for the responsibility of friendship and romantic relationships, but will try to obtain them either way. We must prepare ourselves for all the stressful aspects of a social life as it is an underlying determining factor of our responses to stress in a high degree. Friends move away, we break up with romantic partners, drama can happen at anytime, putting both us and our friends into stressful situations. We cannot escape our need to be loved by others and the stress that comes from fights and rejection. Our stress responses towards social aspects of life are often emotional and strong.

We are a creature that reacts strongly to stress. We do not want to suffer because of it but often do, we’re sometimes even unaware of the causing factors. We have covered a few causes of stress, and determined that positive reaction to stress is crucial for dealing with it effectively. When we identify the determining factors for responses to stress, we gain much internal insight and can draw conclusions of our own to what is the origin of all the things troubling us. We cannot allow ourselves to become prey to our emotional outburst. Emotional control is something needed in this world. Your stress is something that should be handled with care and with the correct response to it, you can be a stronger person and happier in whatever situation you are currently in.
