Deficit And Gain

Deficit And Gain

Humans often operate on the premises of gain and deficit. That's right: many people need some sort of gain psychologically to continue on with their roles and occupation. Additionally, a deficit is received when there is a lack of gains in a person's mind. A person always wants some sort of reward or praise in life, as it is human nature. If we lose too many things, we will feel as if we need some sort of balance to help stabilize the person’s life. This doesn’t seem like a correct form of human behavior, as we will always have obstacles and barriers that occur in life. If we believe that we should be given something in life merely because we have had loss in our life, then our thinking is incorrect. To fully understand this common mentality that many people have, we must examine it closely.

Deficit And Gain And The Problems That It Causes

When we are expectant, we often treat people in an also expectant manner. People in this life will not give you anything emotionally or physically without due reason. A person may even extent this behavior to strangers, which is scary. The opposite behavior is what happens when someone gains too much in life. Too much gain makes a person almost lethargic or lazy in life. In order to compensate for too much gain and deficit, we must find some sort of balance. One such method would be goal setting. When we set goals, we reward ourselves through hard work. The hard work is something that can be seen as a self rewards system. We do not merely gain a reward from someone else, but from our own self, and that is by far the most special of gains. Someone else can give you a pat on the back, new friends or relationships, or advancement and raises in your career. However, the rewards reaped from yourself gains you confidence and that is invaluable. Nothing can compare to the feeling of a job well done. Goal setting keeps us diligent and teaches us self preservation, which is worth its weight in gold. The ultimate human exercise is to make a person independent.

Deficit And Overcoming It

Deficits or misfortunes send our minds through a loop. We often become unstable when we deal with loss. When the world seems like it is crashing down around us, we may become depressed. Often, depression is cured through time and going out there and meeting new people, spending time with friends and family, or even spending time with nature. (If you often feel depressed and feel it is for no particular reason I'd advise you see a counselor today. It doesn't mean you are not normal, and it is a situation many people in the world face.) We are people who tend to focus on the bad more than the good, and we must always try to reverse that. Think positive as often as you can. Positive thinking can help you overcome many of the problems you face in life. Even in bad situations there almost always is a positive conclusion you can find in it.

We base our lives on scales, and this is a problematic behavior. With positive reinforcement we can break out of the “the world owes us” mindset. Draw positive conclusions out of the bad, and set goals for your life. Self advancement dictates that you are the one that makes yourself happy. Get out of that deficit and gain rut and balance your life today.
