The Deepest Sorrow
The deepest sorrow is but one thing: and that is life. We suffer and there is only one cure, and that is enlightenment. Even after acquiring enlightenment, we will at times revert back to that deep pain that is life. If we are to liberate ourselves inside then we must, absolutely must, adhere to nirvanic reality. Thus reality to our eyes see is purely an illusion. You will suffer, hurt, feel sorrow, hate, and anger as long as you exist inside this suffering, broken world we call home. I cannot begin to tell you how hard life is for the everyday person. I petition everyday that you are not suffering. If you are suffering, I give you my heart. No pain is greater than the one of the heart, and sorrow increases the pain.
I cannot begin to tell you of the woes of this world. We are creatures of unique and strange purpose, and what we are held back by is our own inequities. However, I do not want you to become hung up on them. Revel in your strength and weakness, as ultimately we are all of the same origin. Humans feel the same sorrows that have plagued mankind since day one. We are fragile, and our deepest sadness consumes us. We must understand what is truly wrong with us.
What is really wrong with us is our inability to care. I'm not talking about caring about ourselves. We care little for others, and sympathy and empathy is almost alien to all people. When we receive enlightenment we have knowledge of sympathetic joy, love, compassion, and peace of mind, the four sublime states. Should we not understand these concepts then enlightenment and sagehood is not for us. We are creatures that tend to fall into patterns, and we must not let this broken world break us down. Those emotions of this earth are not for us. We cannot allow ourselves to feel them, as the kind will suffer. Good karma attributes to how we treat and feed our own conscious as well. Apathy is what kills our conscience, and sympathy is what grows it. Good karma comes from those who use their mind and heart to their advantage.
Our deepest sorrow is within everyone. You cannot cry someone back to you, but I am sure many or us have tried. Do not falter on other people's behalf. Never abandon hope, but at the same time recognize when people are too far away to save. We continually second guess ourselves, but do we ever try to blame ourselves for our inequities? Everyone else is not the maker of our bad karma, only ourselves are to blame. We must own up to reality or our sorrow and tears will consume us, leaving us emotional wrecks for weeks, maybe even months or more. We should not ever believe we are worse off than other people, as each person goes through many of the same difficulites that go along with everyday life. Never lose hope.
We will close on some positive thoughts. We have a gift this life. The opportunity we have received is worth living, and we will have many good times in life. Live through the pain, and you will become stronger, able to withstand even the strongest of all storms. That weak person we were the other day is no longer ourselves, as we are constantly changing. Our hearts tell a tale of sufferage and joy. That joy is with us even in the rain. A heart is not bound to the dark, but is a product of light. Do not feel pain, for your suffering is drowned out by joy.
