Acceptance
Accepting other people is crucial in this day and age. Many of us are quite different from each other, and we need to accept people despite any underlying fact. No one wants to be treated as an outcast, and it is painful for a person to be treated as such. Has anyone ever discriminated you before? I'm sure all of us have been treated unfairly at one point or another, and I know it had to of hurt. How do we eliminate discrimination in this world today? It all starts with us: we need to accept all people, not just our friends and family.
Discrimination is a real problem in the world today and is quite common in schools and workplaces, although they will swear up and down that they don't discriminate against anyone. Do not believe that discrimination does not happen, because we as a society are guilty of the same crime. We discriminate against people all the time, making fun of the clothes they wear and how they look, ourselves not knowing a single thing about the person. We are bound by our own narrow minds, and liberated when our minds are open. Do not believe that you have an open mind if you do not accept everyone.
How does Discrimination Begin?
Discrimination against a person starts from the moment we first see them, our eyes judging the person. We make mental notes on how they look, and their mannerisms etc. Do any of us ever judge a person after conversing with them for awhile? Do we ever actually believe in karma? If we discriminate against others and pass unfair judgment upon them, then we do not know karma at all. Never let our eyes deceive us: everyone is worthy of love. This is a concept that is often lost on humanity. The judging mind is not one of love and compassion, and should be constantly placed in check. I believe the key is to always try to imagine what the person is experiencing, and as I always say, feel empathy and sympathy towards them.
Discrimination starts from the mind, and we must control our own mind, and not other's minds. We are always at the mercy of our own mind's emotions and thoughts, and we must place our own mind under special care. People should always be loved by us, and that love should return that affection. We have the gift of a human heart, and that heart is beautiful. Why not show it and share it with everyone? We can make a change. Go out there and do not discriminate against anyone. Love everyone, and never stop loving everyone.
Life is an incredible opportunity to meet people and make new friends. So go out there and love everyone, for you will be sure to have much prosperity. My greatest pleasure, if there ever was one, is loving people. It makes me feel positive and joyful. I know there is so many people out there suffering as you might be. If there are readers out there who have been discriminated against or are feeling unloved and unwanted, I want to tell you that I love you and wish one day we could talk. I'd tell you of my vision, and I'd tell you this one message: life is always worth it.
Conclusion
We must cure the problems that this world faces, and discrimination is a huge one. Discrimination starts from the mind, and we must control our own mind. Love is the answer. Love people and ultimately they will love and admire you. Go out there, and bring a smile to someone's face, with love as your driving force.
