How Many Lifespans? (Reincarnation)

How Many Lifespans? (Reincarnation)

It's a debate that will rage on for the human race for all of time. Reincarnation: is it real? As a collective conscious whole many people believe in life after death. Reincarnation is often the most absurd idea to people when it comes to existence of life after death. They internally ask "Why would I want to come back?" Or "What would I come back as?" These questions and an infinite amount more flood out as reincarnation is discussed. Can we really, as a living being, substantiate reincarnation? Most believe that we would have no memories of our past lives. There's some belief, though, that we can somehow regain memories and even the former personalities of these past lives.

The whole scenario of multiple personalities is both a touchy subject as well. Some try real hard to liken this to past lives. However, it poses a problem in regards to mental illness. Additionally, we have no clue whether the person in doubt is bring authentic or merely putting on a show. Even with vigorous tests, we can still not come to a complete conclusion on multiple personalities and what they are. I'll let you be a judge of that. I'm sure there is many case studies on the intriguing condition of multiple personalities.

I believe fully in reincarnation. To me, the idea of not reusing souls would he criminal. Why would be created to never exist again and get replaced by other souls? Are we not good enough to remain on earth in some various form? Also, there is that absolute idea of perhaps some sort of hierarchy of reincarnated souls. Do we come back as a greater form if we had positive karma as compared to another life form? Or are we given rest if we do enough good in the first life? Or is there some sort of society that rules over the souls that weren't good enough, perhaps as such as limbo, sending them back to earth until they do achieve enlightenment? Or perhaps a continual cycle where the person attempts to achieve positive karma without any knowledge of their past life?

Does a person have the potential to regain past life memories and even past life skills? Are we the same person as a previous version of ourselves, or a completely different human or animal? I don't think well ever truly know. We don't even have the capacity to ever know if there is a divine celestial ruling force. There might not be an incentive for people to do good deeds and generate good karma if they knew they'd have more or even infinite chances. Perhaps it's better we don't ever know. A person must understand actions have consequences and if there was never both reward and punishment for each consequential deed. We should never believe it is okay to do evil deeds. We must be aware that enlightenment is not ever given to those who are wicked and corrupt.

Conclusion

We may never know if reincarnation is real, but today we have thought of some conditions of why it might be real. Is it something we must put faith in we may never know, and if it is godly or human, we will also never really know. Perhaps we can draw the conclusion that no one comes back from death, and that is the missing link. If we could all say we lived past lives this broken world would be an even more of a confusing place. I hope this has been interesting to you all,  and I would love to hear all of your thoughts.
