Servitude

Servitude is a vow to serve a person, many or all people or perhaps even all lifeforms. This is a rewarding yet intense vow for a person to take on. Many roles already have you serving a person, from the military to marriage or just about any vocation you have or had worked at. We all have a boss of sorts in life. No one is a true utmost master above all.

In many contexts servitude it is a deeply spiritual vow that is often taken on by monks or perhaps even priests. For one to serve all lifeforms is something we cannot fathom yet will understand with time and patience. For most, it would seem silly to attend the wants and desires of all animals. If you were told to care and serve all people, most would think you are crazy or they would be unwilling to do this. (Face it, we all know there is quite a few annoying people on this planet.) However, this is the rewarding part. Serving those who do not deserve it is a pleasure within it's self.

We are all truly gifted, be it a master or an apprentice. If you are truly enlightened then you will understand the importance of serving others. Always lead people on the right path, as you would want people to do for you. An enlightened one knows much about making people's life easier and you can pass this information to any and all that  you serve. An executor of karma must produce positive karma and making people's lives easier is a great way to do it.

Many may be put off by a vow of servitude for it is, as I said before, indeed quite the undertaking. It is one thing to help those who ask for it but many people are not forward enough to help those who do not. Cast all pride into the ocean for no master may have such a worldly feeling. For a person to obtain any sort of spiritual completeness they must walk the up most path. If there is a true desire of a human heart, it is to help out others and to be admired for it. It's not manipulation, it is a way to be at peace with your actions and soul.

Remember that helping one person may just change their life for the better. Now imagine changing many people's lives on regular basis. The good you will do with the vow of servitude will benefit your fellow man and woman. If a peaceful revolution is coming then we must learn to live, laugh, and cry together. One man's or woman's suffering is no greater than another and we can help and encourage each other by sharing the burden and making ourselves useful.
