Angelic Myth

Angelic Myth

Angels are creatures mentioned across most mythology, including Paganism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Angels are defined as creatures holding a celestial office, such as strength or healing. Most angels are described as males with wings who possess great beauty. Many people don't realize that not all angels possess wings, as said in the Holy Bible. Angels have a physical body, as they must eat, as said in the Bible. They eat manna, an ancient word meaning bread. They also have the ability to dwell on earth as fallen angels, as demonstrated in the notorious Nephilim passage in Genesis. Angels are also creatures that have four forms, that of an ox, (also mentioned as  cherubim,) human, ("man,") lion, and an eagle.

Angels are believed to mostly all have the word “El” at the end of their names, with angels such as Michael, Gabriel, etc. El is, of course, an ancient name for God. Angels are often seen throughout religious text delivering godly messages and doing God's will. They are seen doing both positive and negative tasks, whether it is healing believers or killing sinners. Although they are male only in the Holy Bible, popular art depicts them as both genders.

Angels will play a major role in end times. Both good and evil angels will be involved in the destruction of humanity. Angels in the Bible should not be confused with their pagan counterparts, guardian spirits or patron deities. (“Hobs.”) Guardian spirits or guardian angels protect certain people, and are always given in pairs. Most people who possess guardian angels in paganism are shaman. Shaman are people who can communicate with the spirit world. The guardian angels protect and guide the shaman during their celestial activities.

The four angels of the wind is another pagan concept, consisting of Michael, “Who is like El?” of the northern wind, Gabriel, the strength angel of the east, Uriel, angel of light, the southern wind, and Raphael, the healing angel, of the west. These angels make up a protective path that can protect anyone. With these angels, peace can be found.

Angels are creatures that have fascinated us for millennia. We always wonder what these heroic beings might be. We want to liken everything to angels, and often do. These messengers mesmerize both believer and non-believer alike, and we all want to feel as if a guardian angel watches over us. Do I believe a guardian angel watches over me? I'd be foolish if I said no. All of the talent that I have comes from my angels. I am not dead, but alive, risen. Where I go, my angels follow me, securing my pathway into the stars. Where religious law fails, my angels succeed.

Do you want to believe that there is angels working in your life? Do you believe that there is an other-worldly force working in your life, leading you forward? I know I'm an interesting guy, with many seemingly conflicting beliefs, but that's the best thing about this universe, that nothing makes sense. Ciao!
