Human Consciousness

Human Consciousness

The human consciousness implies that we are “alert” and “aware.” In my realization I understand we are not all conscious. This does not mean we all cannot become conscious to a high level. Human consciousness is a state where the person realizes one great thing: that they are not one, but instead part of a large group of people that we call humanity.

con·scious·ness

noun
the state of being awake and aware of one's surroundings, most often relating to realizing where you are.

“He was attune to his world. Everything made sense to him.”

Human consciousness fills in the blanks. When we are conscious, we are awake, and when we are aware of humanity, we are so much more empathetic and useful to one another. Think of consciousness as awareness. When we are conscious, we are aware, and when we are aware of humanity, we are often able to understand our fellow human being better. Understanding one another is one of the most basic functions of empathy, and sometimes, sympathy. We cannot ignore those who are all integral to society, and that is everyone. Without humanity we are nothing more than uncivilized animals, tending to our own wounds and no one elses. Despite what anyone may believe, the human mind seeks to help out others who are in despair, which is what we call the human conscience. Human consciousness is alive in each being, they just may have trouble admitting it. Humanity is the first law: it dictates karma.

What are we to do about those who are not awake, or those who lack human consciousness? We must show them love and compassion, and hope they breakout of their slumber. We must do everything we can as humans to make this world a better place to live in for both nature and humanity. A fellow brother or sister can help us tremendously. This world is shaped by not one but by many. We cannot allow our feelings towards one another go bad, as this world has enough wars to begin with. Take a look at American politics, which has been a cesspool for many decades, if not much longer. Why do we hate the figures on television and turn our right to vote into a civil war? Why do we keep fighting each other? What ever happened to love and happiness? This world has lost much of its human consciousness as a whole.

Humanity dictates that we act human. Humanity is beautiful in both act and entity. Together we comprise humanity, and within our grasp is humanity as a quality. Human consciousness makes us humane. Being conscious of the world around us is nothing short of amazing. If I treat others correctly and with love then I have truly discarded my worldly possessions, and I will be able to live a happy life, myself complete and always conscious. Consciousness is for everyone, and should be experienced by all.

We do not need to hide our faces from our fellow man and woman. We need to acknowledge we are in this together. Human consciousness is something that accumulates. The more of us that experience the sensation of being whole and in touch with both reality and that others live here besides us, too, is what we need to strive for.We need to stop insulting and doing evil to those who aren’t “like us” as this is the worst hate and a poison to our soul. Love one another, and be conscious of humanity today.
