True Thought and Motivation

True Thought and Motivation

Our thoughts are tied in completely with our motivation. Our thoughts direct both our intention and motivation. If we are negative in thought, our intentions and motivations can become negative and lead to bad karma. When our thoughts are pure and enlightened, our intentions and motivations will gravitate towards good karma, and you will be ultimately a better person. It is difficult to guard our thoughts, but there are some simple steps we can take to make sure our thoughts our enlightened.

Why does it seem like negative thoughts are so infectious? Because, quite simply, they are. A negative thinker is like a bad apple: they ruin the whole barrel. If we are not careful, we can be that negative thinker. The best bet is to not let our emotions become tied to our thoughts. Our emotions are often irrational. Emotions operate on extremities, where our true thought works on rationalities. To understand when we are thinking within good reason, we must monitor one aspect, and that is our tongue. Always think before you speak. However, I will say this: thinking before you speak is one of the hardest things you can do. Words at times seem to just run out of a person's mouth without reason. The "right type of speech" is essential for us to become truly enlightened. When our actions cannot say our intention, we are held by our words only. We must speak concisely, and always have good intentions behind them. When we say the wrong thing to a person we apparently love, it is nothing short of criminal. Guard your tongue, and rejoice for having people to love. Never abuse them verbally.

Where does Negative Thought End?

Negative thought ends upon enlightenment.  Enlightenment is not something that can be bought or sold. Enlightenment only begins as we discard our old, wordly ways. One must rid their mind of desire to become enlightened. Suffering is a product of disruption in the mind. All suffering comes from the mind. Suffering leads to negativity. We cannot have an imperfect mind and hope to not give into bad karma. Negativity is a bit different than evil, or the west's general concept of evil. Does evil truly exist? I am not sure, but I do understand that bad karma and improper wrights and balances exists. Negativity is the true essence of this: to remain on a path that leads to the alleviation of the weight of the world we must, I repeat, must maintain a positive attitude and thought, good motivation, and good karma. Concepts of good and evil will find their weights after those factors have been achieved. Enlightenment make a person shine, and will lead you to the right frame of mind and correct motivations in all we do.

Motivation is something we tend to either have a lot of or very little. One's with ambition are considered to have a lot of motivation. Those who are down in the dumps are considered to have little motivation. This isn't necessarily true: people in these stayes merely have different motivations. One is driven by a need to become more successful, and the other driven by the need to be loved. Which is truly better? I'm afraid the answer to this question we will never know.

Conclusion

We have never been known for our internal motivations, as we are known for our actions and accomplishments. However, I can say this: it's the motivation that truly matters. Without idealistic motivations, our actions will always be in vain. Remember, motivation all comes from the mind. Embrace enlightenment, and as always, live your positive dreams. Good karma and enlightenment are true treasures, and should you pursue them, you will always have the right motivation. Embrace love.
