Pain
The purpose of this article is to state philosophical beliefs. This not everyones theory or opinion, and I accept that. Please feel free to have your own views always in life. Never just believe someone elses theory without research and personal experience. Live and be free, in both body and spirit.
Pain is an emotion. Pain is always there. Pain is all of physical, emotonal, and mental. A person cannot exist without pain. Pain is more than our bodies reaction to injury, it is an intense emotional response that carries different weights to different kinds and intensities of pain. We are creatures that are bound by pain, for pain is always present and always constant. We are held back and moved forward by pain. The mind suffers, the body suffers, as does the heart. Do not be deceived by the pain you feel: the refusal to accept pain will only make us weaker. There is no way to cure pain, as we must merely accept it.
Pain us the strongest emotion, as it is present with all other types of pain. Pain coincides with every type of emotion. There is pain with love, there is pain with joy, and there is great pain with fear, and much pain with anger and sorrow. We live in a world that constantly tries to make us feel pain. This pain is constant. We never stop feeling pain. Those who have had the most types and amount of pain often have a special relationship with pain, feeling it more intense than others. We are enslaved by our pain, but also empowered. Pain can be both a release and an escape, but to the one's who suffer it can be a nightmare and hell on earth. Be considerate to others who are in pain.
We cannot all expect to survive everything life throws at us. Life tosses torrents of injury and loss at us and it is easy to be cut down by these blades. They cut and carve into our flesh, stripping us of all our love and joy. We must be ready, and choose to feel this pain, despite all of our insecurities. Our pain is beautiful and deceptive. Do we really feel the way our pain makes us feel? Or is our pain merely an added emotion to an already traumatic experience? Are we to live our lives only knowing greater and greater pain? I think so.
Physical pain is an emotion. We do not simply attach numeric pain values through our nerve endings. We feel intense emotion as we live through the pain, either dying with it or fighting through it. We live endlessly, and die endlessly. Pain is what is with us no matter what. Emotional pain comes from the mind, and is connected to mental and physical pain, as mentioned. We are not actually feeling emotinal "pain", just discord and strife (perhaps "just" is an understatement.) Discord and strife is defined as "a struggle, or clash, or vigorous conflict." Pain is coupled with any conflict or struggle. Our pain is great in the mind and heart, but unless it is coupled with physical pain, we will never hope to survive. Pain is a part of life, and we need to feel it. Denial of pain is criminal, as we cannot live if we cannot feel pain. Pain is omnipresent in the human animal. We are lifeforms blessed with the incredible gift of pain. Cherish your pain and how it made you feel. Live through it, always keeping in mind what it felt like. What it feels like. Pain is something I feel is unforgettable, and life changing.
