     Many people may not even know what an oath is. Do you have any oaths or commitments? Chances are you do. In fact, you have many, like I. Marriages, jobs, family, and friends are just some of the many things we have commitments with. Together, let's delve into the identity of our oaths, or commitments if you will.

The Complexity of a Social Life

   That's the truth about finding balance in this life. It's both difficult and painful. I don't believe becoming anti social will make you any happier, though. In fact, I'd venture to say friends and family are the perfect answer to leading a happy and successful life. No one wants to feel alone in life.

   Face it, misery loves company and we live in a cold, miserable, broken world. If we are so fortunate to find a person to share our pain in life (Much less start a family with) then we have found a treasure that glistens. Some search and never find a partner, and that causes me sorrow, for I know how lucky I really am. My wife encourages me to be strong and caring.

   The next layer is maintaining an active and healthy social life. In fact, often an active social life is anything but healthy. Most who hang out with friends on a regular basis find themselves in trouble r have few good, trustworthy friends. Quality is always better than quantity. I In this world, many will come and go in your life. It's those who don't leave you that are truly worthy of being your closest of friends. Life is pain. To have someone to share the pain is desirable.

What an Oath Really Is

   An oath is even deeper than a promise. It can even be seen as a vow, much like a wedding vow. An oath is not to be broken, and should be taken seriously. This life is too short for us to be flimsy with our word. I believe with all my heart that our deeds carry from one life to the next. If you make a promise to someone, it be wise to keep it. I'm sure we can all agree karma is a real thing.

   I hope you all have experienced a true mother's love. That type of love, a mother's, now that is a type of love that is forever. Do you have an undying love for your friends and family? When you understand how deep a mother's love really is, then you will grasp what an oath is. Something that is unbreakable. You must love those who are goodly enough to receive an oath from you.

    Oaths are like a forest, the trees grow together, and always accompany one another. If one tree falls, it'll be around the others in that grove. If you make a oath to a person, make sure you keep that promise/ Those who keep their word will be well liked and have many friends. Truth is currency, and respecting other people will make you the life of the party. After all, no one likes a man or woman who can't keep their word.
