What This World Needs
This world is in desperate need of dominant figures and role models that reproduce strong behaviors that are inspired by correct moral thought. We have too many bad figures in society who brainwash our youth into thinking evil behavior is fine. Religious institution has killed what they claim to know, and that is god and the goodly action such a figure does. My heart is not with the church. Although I'm apparently a believer in a higher power, I do not believe in organized religion as it bears mostly bad fruit. Religion has disappointed me for years and always manages to continue to disappoint me.
We need men and women who can speak a message of integrity and love. Humanity is only that if we speak a message that is loving and kind to all people. We all have issues in our life where we want to be negative but a person should only be valued if they contribute to society and don't seek to harm others with word or action. There is a difference between speaking constructively and being negative. Negative thought and behavior produces hate and that is the last thing in the world that we need. I'm tired of this world's negativity. I will do everything in my power to speak out with love and compassion. If no one else wants to walk my path then I will walk it alone.
In my new series I feature troubled teens that deal with all sorts of problems, including drug use and abuse, teen depression, bisexuality, self-harm, and so much more. The challenges they encounter are explored more deeply as they delve into a hidden dark fantasy world which attempts to swallow the three main characters whole. The three teens featured are the newly designed Mindi Jacobson, who struggles with depression and trust issues. Karla, her best friend, is a gay teen who has pretended to like boys for years, which leaves her questioning her own sexuality, and Blake, a sixteen-year-old teen who has a very dark secret. As their bond (Spoiler: it’s an unnatural love triangle!) becomes deeper and so does the danger that they face. They learn to cope with their problems and find ways to openly express themselves, which is something both their world and ours really doesn't allow! At least three LGBTQ characters will appear in this series and play a major role in the early part of this series. Many of the teens that attend North Central Alternative are not your everyday teen. Mindi and Karla are very relatable, realistic teens that are a welcome addition to traditional fiction. Blake will bring a balance of unbelievable and a factor that proves that we are all only human. This will be an ongoing series so, please, go check out www.channillo.com for it and other amazing stories designed for your tech-savvy life.
This world needs a message that addresses all of humanity, not just a select few people. The ones I serve commanded that I protect and bolster our youth so I chose to do it through my writing and this blog. I am happy to say I support LGBTQ rights and also, as mentioned, I am an advocate for teen depression. I have a gift that was given to me and I will use it to help people and spread the doctrine of endless love. I'm not afraid to speak out for what I believe and it's about time someone steps up. It's going to be me. Will you join me?
