Death Is Not The Answer
Death is something mysterious and terrifying. Many people spend their whole lives thinking and worrying about it. For some people, they get upset, and desire death over life. Many people are too uptight to talk about suicide. Few people realize that many people kill themselves each day. We don’t want to think that our friends and family consider killing themselves, but they do.
Death is not the answer to your woes. Life may get bad, but it gets better as it goes on. Please don't throw it all away. It’ll get better each and every day. The sorrows we have now will pass. If life seems like too much, I want you to talk to someone who cares. Someone, anyone, even if it has to be me. Depression and suicide is something that many people suffer from and I want you to know that you are not alone. For every single person that takes their life, there are many more who don't kill themselves and go on to recover and lead productive lives. You don't have to think that your life is over. When one door closes, many other doors open, leading to new paths out of the desert.
We are all human. We all fall down. It's not a matter of avoiding the falls but more of how well we get back on our feet after we fall down. Depression is a part of many people's lives. When something bad happens, our thoughts are bound to go south. That's when you have to remember that you are still alive. You must realize that your life can only get better. Whatever your sorrow may be, you have to understand that it's only a matter of time before your sorrows will fade away.
For anyone who suffers from clinical depression I want you to know that there are programs, therapy, and medication out there that can help you. You are beautiful, and it's better to take the necessary steps to recover than to end up a statistic. People don't want to realize there is something wrong with them, but is there anything wrong with you? No one is perfect, and everyone struggles with their own personal problems. Get the help you need and get back on track. You are always going to be an amazing person who deserves love. You don't want to become a statistic.
There is an infinite amount of possibilities in this universe and unfortunately, some of them aren't that great. You need to remember one thing, though, and that is there is many good things that await you in life. What happened to me and my guardian angel isn't something that happens to just anyone. When we rose from the ashes of our former lives, I made a promise to my guardian angel, Jen, and that promise was that I would become a suicide awareness advocate. When my eyes and my mind opened, I realized that I could help people through this blog. Life sucks, I know this, but when life shines, it's spectacular. For every pain we endure, we are treated to many awe-inspiring events in life that leave us captivated and mesmerized. Don't forfeit your chance to be a part of those events. Live, and keep on living. Ciao!
