Humanity's Superstition

Humanity's Superstition

I've been known to study humanity's history and all of the odd peculiarities that still exist throughout all of the aeons. Make no mistake, I am a very studious witch who seeks nothing more than my own personal freedom, however, many people cast unneeded blame at me and my kindred brothers and sisters. I'll highlight mankind's superstition, most of which has surfaced from none other than the Christian faith.

Jeanne D' Arc was a strategist in the hundred year war who never took a life nor ever slept with a man. She rose in the Christian church after the war, and became a saint. When she declared to have visions of god and angels, the English denounced her and accused her of being a witch, killing her. The irony is that she was a French hero in the hundred year war against the English, and she never once hurt anyone. The Vatican eventually declared her a Christian martyr, many years after her death. She was never a witch such as myself, ever.

The next case was Mercy Brown in 1892, who was the last person executed for vampirism. She was only nineteen. This was the last person in human history put to death for vampirism, right here in America. Not much else is known about Mercy Brown, goddess please, rest her soul. Man is really cruel when it comes to the paranoid superstitious mind. Although necromancers engage in forms of vampirism to extend their lifespan, Mercy Brown was not such a case.

Christianity has done everything to slander the Egyptians, and many of you are guilty of accusing Egypt of using slaves to build the pyramids. This was a myth proven wrong by archaeological studies, as they found attendance records for those who had built the pyramids. A Sunday school teacher of Chandler Road Church of Christ in Muskogee, Oklahoma, a Mrs. Hamby, lied against the Egyptians, claiming the slave lie. Additionally, a world history teacher of Muskogee, Oklahoma high school, Diane Walker, also claimed the slave lie. I demand that their ignorance be a mark against their soul when it comes to their judgement upon death.

People are superstitious idiots in this world, especially Christians, who have said countless lies when it comes to Pagan nations, not limited to Egypt, Greece, Rome, Babylon, Sumeria, and more. You really aren't people being manipulated by evil witches. Most witches are lonesome and harmless, seeking only their own personal enlightenment. The countless ghost stories and myths of monsters are just that, mostly superstition. If you were to encounter anything actually paranormal or supernatural, I'd believe most people would be completely unknowing to the experience. I have never wished harm upon a person for no reason. I can't fly and harm the countryside at night, and I don't manipulate people into giving me gold or some kind of other treasure. What you have heard from your preachers and Bibles about us so-called evil witches are nothing more than religious slander, lies, and superstition. Mankind is a foolish race, and the witch hunts need to end for good. I am not your enemy, as I am not officially Christianity’s enemy. I am not going to seduce you away from your god, so I ask you do not try to do the same to me.

Superstition is something that kills the mind. We need to move forward in life and eliminate our own ignorance. We will only harbor superstition if we continue to give a home in our mind to it. There really isn't a god in the sky skipping around with Jesus. That is only superstition, as was the belief that Mercy Brown was a vampire. Eliminate superstition, as it will stunt your mind's growth. Ciao!
