The Pursuit Of Happiness
We all want it, but few of us ever obtain it. We all want to feel joy. Joy is something that this life doesn't have an abundance of. Now, as the holidays draw near, I want to ask all of you a single question: are you happy with your life? I am very happy with my life, even if I'm not exactly as successful as I want to be. I have a family, and many loving and helpful friends. I'd give anything for any of them, and there is more than a few that I consider my kin. Do you share the joy that I have?
This life is hell for many. Many say they are doing alright but they simply are not. They have felt the burden that Atlas knows only too well: the world. If you are not as strong as the mighty titan who holds this world up then you will break. What do we have to look towards for relief? I say self-improvement. Becoming a better and stronger person will enable you to handle things ultimately better. We do not need to look to others but instead ourselves for strength. As the sun grows plants, a human must also find similar light to grow their mind. You don't have to be a magician to become a better person. The decision of what to do in life is yours, and I can only hope that you can make some time to become stronger and build a new you.
We aren't people who are known for keeping happiness. Happiness has a huge cost, and that it needs to be found and felt on a daily basis. Sometimes, tragedy hits us, making it real hard for us to be positive. A positive attitude is often the key to feeling joy. I can only hope that when the rain starts to fall you can still see the light. Life is cruel, and we are often ones who only see in one shade. Make that shade one of the golden light, and just maybe you'll make something wonderful out of this life.
These holidays always make us forget the true meaning of the season, which is being with our loved ones. Forget religion, forget the gifts, and let's focus on who really matters. We can live just fine without religion and gifts, but face it, everyone needs loving supporters. For those who would call me their sensei and comrade, I'll promise to you my love and the fact that I am loyal to the end.
We all have to pursue happiness, that's all we can do. We can't let go of our chase to end all of our pain and suffering. As Trump continues to destroy our country and the threat of nuclear war looms on the horizon for us, our best bet is to channel out all the static and focus on what really matters: friends and family. I want to mention that I love all of my friends and family and dedicate this article to them. Without you, I wouldn't be even a fraction of the pillar of strength that I am now.
