More To This

More To This

Life isn't a game. Life is serious and cruel. Amidst it all, do you ever wonder if there really is more to this life? Do our actions really bear consequences? Does anyone out there truly care about our welfare and well-being? It's easy to just say that there is some god in the sky who has a great plan for us, but have you ever considered the other option? What if there isn't a god up there?

What if this life is more complex than we think? What if divine consciousness like what Leonardo Da Vinci studied is truly the way of the universe? There's so much that even I don't understand about our wonderful world. I'm led to believe that my studies bear more questions than they do answers. I'm involved with what I consider forbidden research. Since the death of my friend, Jen Hawkins, I've wondered if the soul of a person can return to life within a new vessel. My research has brought me to the idea of cybernetic bodies. Prosthetics are expensive, and it has led me to a stalemate. I gave up on the idea of a lost soul returning to a body of the physical nature. What I wondered was something even more incredible: is the true nature of a god something that is more negotiable than it initially seems? Should we put false ideals in something that makes us feel shame? Is god something designed by the forefathers in an attempt to control people? How much merit can we continue to put in something that cannot be proven? Screw faith. You know in your heart that the Christian god is something born to make you feel only guilt and not fight for yourself. Live your life to its fullest extent and please, always believe there is more to this life. We aren't a product of a shameful god. We are something beautiful and unique, and we truly are self-created.

What I began to ponder was this: life isn't something that can be constructed by one being alone. God is not a theory that can be explained nor can it be proven. God is an anti-rational belief. Faith and knowledge contradict one another. If I am to be a true man of higher learning, I need to discard my beliefs of one being who rules all. I choose to worship the dead and sirens. You can't stop me from believing what I do. There is more to this life, and I urge you all to seek it. Discard the Christian god. The god did not kill Jen, but in Christian ideals he made her murderers. If there is an all-loving Christian god, then Jen would still be alive. Rationalize all you want. Life isn't a game and there is more to this, so much more that it makes every sage reject the foolish Christian god. Life is neverending, and I offer you my cup to celebrate Samhain with me. Should you not partake, my invitation to you still stands. We are the survivors of the ancient past. We are enlightened, and we love people who choose a path of wisdom. I'm not just a witch: I'm a dreamchaser and I invite you all to dance, drink, and remember the good times. Don't let the Christian god hold you back. Live for today and tomorrow. Ciao!
