The Economy Of Modern Society
Modern civilization has been heading forward for quite some time. The news often highlights the bad but we live in a society that is allowing the population to have more and more rights. What we go through as fellow citizens may be rough, but most countries are moving forward. We must celebrate our victories and continue to fight for more rights, as not everyone has the same rights as other countries do.
Civilization has been blessed with improving laws, as ancient laws were by far barbaric, and those laws continued on much longer than most people realize. What we fight for today is by far icing on the cake, but there are some minority groups that go wisely discriminated against, even in the United States. Whether we agree or disagree on anything, it should not matter, as the freedom of the citizens should be respected and given to those who would seek out such freedoms. If we cannot respect the rights of the public then what sort of nations are we? I fully know of the suffering outside of America, and believe me, I wish everyday for your liberation. What is this world if we have to live in fear of our own governments and military? America was founded on trust and the rights of each citizen in the nation. Although we have taken some steps back from the Constitution there continues to be more civil rights added each day in the United States. We are truly fortunate, as many countries are not only not moving forward but instead backwards in their fight for more rights.
Do I like modern civilization? Yes, but there are always opportunities for intellectual minds here in modern times. In some places employment rates continue to drop and it’s interesting to note that this problem has failed to be fully addressed in the United States for quite some time. In other nations, unemployment always exists, and some might say what is the point of civil rights when there is such high hunger and poverty rates. What are we to do if our civilization continues to ignore the economy? There will be more people, less food, and less housing. The population crisis is a subject for great debate, but I don't know, I still believe in “Be fruitful and multiply.” The problem isn't the number of people, but instead, ineffective economies. If we work hard on fixing the economy and creating more jobs then our population crisis will disappear. We are not the useless, but the used, the bent, and broken, but upon our shoulders this world has been made, in all of its wonder. Whatever walk we walk, let the trails we blaze be well-made, for the promised youth to follow and support the economy we shape for them. In America, the commercial empire is made. In other parts of the world, the industry often rules, and although we differ in tastes, flavors, and accent, we are one people through mother Eve. We cannot let the ties that bind us shatter. Look at all of the hatred and bigotry in this world. Who is teaching such an evil doctrine to our children? We can't live this way anymore, for we must let love and peace guide our weary souls.
I am not just a voice of this generation, but one who is made by the people of this good earth. Whatever I may write about is for your knowledge, inspiration, motivation, and peace of mind. May the entertainment of my mind be yours, for I love you, each and every one of you. We are strong if God deems it so. We can't just say we are worlds apart any longer. The time has came to fight and oppose the giants. I have made a commitment to serve and take no finances other then what is needed to live, for that is my keep as a Poor Knight. Look alive, everyone, for we are alive, as I am one of just a million. May peace stay with you on this sabbath. Blessings.
