To many, they are deceived by the ideas of heaven and hell and the belief that ones who die will immediately go to one of those two places. Another stumbling block is that people believe in a temporary holding place such as limbo and purgatory. The Egyptians believe that there was one central place where people went to if they were just and the ones that are guilty were fed to a soul eating monster named Ammit. This female monster was sometimes referred to simply as “Soul-eater.” Where was this underworld, though, and was it like a heavenly realm? The answer is simple. It is a sort of spirit world that exists upon Earth at night or where there is darkness. Ghosts are creatures that can only take actions where darkness is as they are luminescent beings. Ghosts are free from sin, but not emotion, as those who practice sin that especially effected their former lives cause them to become malevolent and desire to avenge their own deaths. To those who walk certain paths, like mediums, shamans, and sorcerers, and witches, ghosts may become friendly with them and even give them assistance and become bonded to them. Ghosts cannot be seen or spoken to by normal people. People must have a sixth sense and be able to detect and recognize spiritual presences. The sixth sense is, of course, an extra channel of sense that is comprised of the initial five senses strength. Those who can see and hear greatly will have the chance of picking up on fellow inhabitants of Earth, the ghosts and additional spirits.
Ghosts are immortal and have some gifts they picked up upon death, such as changing their appearance, walking through walls, possessing objects and people, as well as flight and teleportation. They yearn for one thing the most, and that is being alive again. Some believe they become reincarnated after some time in the underworld. I can't say on the record this is true. However, I will say this may be true in some certain cases. Shamans enjoy the best experiences with ghosts and spirits. Their spirit ally, or guardian angel/spirit, has the ability to assist their shamanic companion in virtually any way imaginable. They are the tamer of ghosts and spirits, enjoying a life of profound uniqueness. Their fates are tied into the servitude of the ghosts and the humans that they and the guardian angel wants to assist, and in many cases, the Gods also. (Gods, in this sense, refers to spiritual beings of great planar influence. They are not necessarily tied into any sort of religion.)
We are in a sort of place where spirits influence everyone's actions, which is the core belief in shamanism and animism. Shamans are able to work within these influences consciously, where mortals simply cannot. Shamanism is a big responsibility. The ghosts and spirits of this multiverse are creatures who need great care. There is simply no God that can please other creatures that are God-like in their own sense. We know that ghosts and spirits are something that many are fascinated by and there is many others that don't believe in them or life after death in general. Do you not know, faith is everything? If I believe in something strong enough it becomes real. Don't believe me? Then you will never grasp the true essence of magick, which is what shamans practice. Shamanism is an archaic form of ceremonial magick that involves much belief and faith. Never believe in what is human. Believe only in the unseen. If you do this you will live the most spiritual and healthy life imaginable.
