Lighting The Path

Lighting The Path

Everyday we illuminate the path we walk down. May you be going up the mountain or down a road to another town, we leave the trail lit for others to follow. When we walk down the many paths life has to offer we very seldom ever are aware that many people watch from both near and far. Setting a good example matters, and if we are to keep our integrity, we must leave the high road open for others to traverse behind us. Let all of your candles be beside the path that leads to the sky.

Our hearts stay with us through both the storm and the sun. Those times we think our world crashes down our heart is right beside us, either giving us strength or splitting in two. When we must travel alone on the pathways of life, our heart is our greatest ally. It may remember someone fond to us who set an example of strength that we can draw upon. Do we break down and perish when the rain is pouring down, or do we remember the one who set forth candles to light our way in the dark? What about when the sun indeed does shine? Do we take things for granted, or do we share our passageway which led us to the sunny valley where green pastures grow and life is abundant? Never forget what brought us to our success. You may one day have to save someone who is lost. When someone is lost they face great peril and you may be the only one who can rescue them. Lead them with a soft touch and a warm embrace to the promise land.

Light the way with a candle on each side of the path. Let no road be obscured by darkness. We must lift up both our hearts and those of others. There is no way that a person can gain strength and power without the commitment to help others. Who wants to be with someone who is selfish in their success? I stand before you now, sharing all that I can. When I became a wayfarer wandering the trails and roads of life I can tell you one thing: life is worthless if you have no one to share in your success. We call that sympathetic joy and it is considered in Buddhistic philosophy, one of the four sublime states. The ability to be happy for others and not full of envy when they succeed in life is an almost divine-like state. We are not going to succeed if we do not let others succeed. No one wants to lose, and when someone is successful they want others to be happy for them. Leave your passageway through the dark full of light, guiding everyone like a luminescent beacon that can be seen through even the blackest of nights.

I do not want anyone to become lost upon the way. Pathways into the darkness do not always have to be so. At one time many came to my family for both guidance and council. As the world has changed throughout the centuries I have taken to this place where I record my thoughts and advice called a blog. I want no one to feel as if they can't come to me and ask for anything. Whatever your heart desires is right should it be lit by the radiance up above. The stars that fall from heaven are still stars. When all hope seems lost, please, remember this blog post and me. I am someone who can say he legitimately cares. So go on, full of hope and belief in yourself, as I will be right beside you in spirit.
