Learning From Bad Experiences

Learning From Bad Experiences

We all go through bad experiences in our life, and to be successful in life we must learn from each and every bad situation we live through. That's right, we need to not mope over what goes wrong in our life and instead attempt to figure out why things went wrong and what we can do in the future to prevent further situations from going astray. Our mistakes are great chances to draw wisdom from. What better chance do we have to become wise then from the times in our life when we were unwitting?

When I was young, a man told me that wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from mistakes. Only when we fail will we become experienced. One does not know what does and does not work unless he or she goes through the process of trial and error. Conversely, in order to know what works in life, we must study closely what goes wrong in our life. No one is perfect, and the pathway out of ignorance is to admit when we are wrong or failed in life. When we come to accept our own inequity, then we can begin to learn from our mistakes and do what it takes to not have them happen again.

We should never believe we are perfect, as one who is perfect has no room whatsoever to learn. If we know that we are not perfect, then we can learn without limit, and that means we can be open to any and all mistakes that we may make. Don't believe that life is an easy affair that you will never have trouble in. You will often come across rough seas in the voyage we call life, and often we have no way of stopping these storms from running out of control. However, when the sails of our vessel is patched and we are back out from the harbor and in the sea, we will know how to steer the ship so much better. We are bound to become great captains if we learn from our unsuccessful journeys, as we know exactly what made those journeys go wrong!

Life is wayward, whether you want to try and control it or not. The more you try to control life, the more things will go wrong. If we surrender to fate, we can let life take its course and it will unfold in ways that will bring us to both good and bad. When Life becomes bad, and we are unsuccessful, we have a chance to make conclusions from our mistakes that will bring our life into consequently better situations as we can use the knowledge of what went wrong to iron out potentially bad situations. Life is the most excellent of opportunities to learn, as it is the most exciting of universities. We learn all the time, from one second to the next. Will you go with the flow in life, taking each corner with ease, letting one bad situation after another unfold into your lap, or will you become an everyday scholar, putting your knowledge to the test and studying each day as if they are the most important courses you have ever taken? Live life, learn from life, and learn not to repeat your mistakes.
