Actions And Their Consequences

Actions And Consequences

Our actions not only bear karma but also consequences. We can never escape the cause and effect of our actions. We may think our actions are without meaning, but that is far from the truth. Everything we do has a reaction that comes with it. Whether the actions receive a consequence from ourselves or others, there will be a consequence. Consequences come with both positive and negative results, so it is important to think before we act.

Many people want to seek a path that pleasures themselves. That self-seeking nature does catch up with you. One that is all about themselves will have few that truly care about and love that person. On the other hand, one who looks to help others and make them happy will have many friends. This is a paradox in itself. One must choose a path of self-enjoyment or friendship. Does not both paths have some sort of consequence that leads to a new existence? Your actions truly do determine where you will go in the future. Whether you want to love yourself or love others there is a new self that you will become as a result of karmic balancing.

What is the true path for your actions? Does good and evil apply when it comes to your own actions and the resulting consequences? The concept of good and evil is often in a person’s own mind. If a person does good and does not know it is good the result is still the same. I believe that everyone, deep down inside, knows right from wrong. It is not unusal for a person to go after what appeases them. Is this wrong? In a person’s mind, no. It is perfectly normal for a person to try and make themselves happy. However, in other people’s minds, they hate it when someone thinks of their own desires. Why do the other people hate when the other person sought to make themselves happy? It is merely because the person who wanted the other person to please them was thinking of their ownselves and is unhappy. We should celebrate other people’s victories. We must be one and not many. If we can be happy for other people’s accomplishments then we have exhibited some sort of behavior that is clean and perfect. Our conscience will be relieved when we understand that we were meant to love one another.

Actions have extreme cause and effect on everyone and everything. We must let our actions benefit both ourselves and others. The consequences involved with our actions must be balanced, as negative consequences can really impact our lives. The key is to measure the amount of positive consequence that comes from all of your actions. Do not needlessly do evil, as evil actions will destroy you in the end. Do what is right, and bring forth return that is good. Our actions are something we all have control over. Even action born out of passion have events that we control leading up to the events. Think of the consequences that could come forth for your actions. Are they what you want? Remember, always look before you leap.
