Expressing Yourself Positively

Expressing Yourself Positively

The freedom of expression has been debated throughout time. In America, many people colonized the United States in hopes that they could have freedom in many ways, including freedom of speech and expression. However, there are rules within society governing over correct expression and the limitations pertaining to it. Positively expression is empowering and liberating. If we learn how to express ourselves both correctly and constructively, we will be able to alleviate mental duress and the stresses placed on our mind in general.

Positive expression comes in many forms, including art, journaling, positive discussion, and even playing music. Expression and emotion are thought to have a special role in creative hobbies and artistic pursuits. Exercise can even be a healthy mental habit as things like dance and aerobics can be seen as positive expression. Creativity is something that tends to let a person draw positive experience out of their pent-up problems. Many people keep negativity in. Positive expression offers to let our negative emotions become a positive experience. For example, if I lose something, I can think of how and why I lost it and let it not happen again. Through active discussion I can let people know about the former frustrating scenario and draw a new positive conclusion out of it.

Many people enjoy listening to music if they are upset. This too is a form of positive expression. Some people listen to angry music and some listen to happy music when they are upset. We are all unique in how we deal with our problems. It's not as if to say any form of expression is bad as long as it is to improve the human condition in a positive way. Do you have tactics you use to help you during tough times? I believe positive expression will make most difficulties go away quickly. For the really hard scenarios in life, the thing that works most is positivity, and a lot of it. When the rain falls it is easy to get lost in the storm. When we express ourselves, all of our emotions come out in our own artistic way. The only truly effective means of dealing with the feelings we keep inside is through expression in artistic and verbal ways. Writers and signers alike use both verbal and artistic expression together.

Not all of us can dance, sing, do art, or even write if the circumstances around us won’t permit us to. However, have you tried? I am sure you can find a positive hobby to occupy yourself with. The more practice you have it, the more you will enjoy the hobby. Turn those feelings of sorrow and rage into emotions that are warm and inspiring. There is so much expression you can do that will help you unleash your creative side. You’ll feel so much better when you do, and you’ll gain self-confidence and respect. Why not try it today? I write all the time and it fulfills my inner creativity and my wish to heal. Otherwise, I read. I can never be too informed and this might interest you too. Read a book one of your friends have read and then openly discuss the book with them. Let your negativity fly away and give birth to new, positive and exciting expression.
