Channeling Out Static

Channeling Out Static

Static- Lacking in movement or change, especially in a way viewed as undesirable or negative.

Today’s article is about static, and how it can derail our lives. Static is something viewed as delaying or inhibiting what is going on in our lives and around us. We deal with static all the time, and in some cases, constantly. We must learn to cope with static in an effective and positive way as there is no real cure to the static that occurs in our lives, as it is, ultimately, constant. That’s right, static is a constant factor that disrupts our way of living. We must understand that static is something that can come from any source. Static, at its core, can even be from something that is seen in our life as needed or beneficial. We will not be able to escape our own devices so we will learn first how to identify static.

Identifying Static Sources

The first thing we need to analyze in our lives when attempting to find static is, as you may have guessed, people. We, as all people do, have many people stationed around us. Sometimes they are our partner, family, be it mother, father, brother, or sister, or friends and coworkers. We must live around them, for better or worse. That means there will be times in which their behavior and problems will create static in your own life. We have two ways we can respond to this static: negatively or positively. For the latter it takes a lot of patience. We must not fall into semantics: we love these people, and we must make time and space for them to operate within our own lives. We must be there for them, and show both empathy and sympathy for them, as this is the only true way to compensate for that static that is between you and them.

Secondly, we must examine our own livingspace and workspace for any sources of static. We always seem to have things interrupt us when we are having fun or working hard. Is it noisy neighbors? Is it a loud stereo? Or is it a factor in our own mind that is weighing heavy upon our own heart? We must find these sources and eliminate their own burden upon us internally. Yes. Our static that is all around us, although external in nature, is really occurring internally. We are bound to our own psyches, and what is on the outside is really also on the inside. We must identify where it is hindering us and seek to eliminate the inconvenience that is going on within our own minds. Channel it out.

Finally, you must consider life events that are creating static in your life, even if the events are perceived as positive, or once again, negative. Anything, as mentioned, can cause static if it is internal. Quite honestly even promotions in jobs and a celebration that goes along with the promotion can cause static. We must be seekers and understand that our minds were not really meant to have stress. Instead, we must rely on the tools within the mind to handle static. Do not let static overwhelm you. You can handle anything from promotions to marriage to births and death with an iron will and steel resolve.

When static happens, we must remember your heart’s treasure, and feed off of meditation and exercise, as these help to clear the mind. Please be strong, as I believe in you, and overcome that static in your life. You will feel so much better about yourself when the static has been filtered through. Be above the noise, and create some positive buzz of your own. You are much greater than one, as the path of the sage belongs to all those who dare to follow it.
