Ridding yourself of Insecurity
Insecurity is one of the worst things there is. Insecurity will lock a person down. Insecurity will prevent you from moving forward in life. Consider insecurity like a roadblock or wall, keeping you from your current path and forcing you to go on a detour. Fear and insecurity often couple together, making it hard to overcome. Today, we are going to learn about our insecurity, and what can be done about it. Remember, feeling insecure is normal and part of life, but also what seperates you from being happy. Try with me to leave those worries behind, and sail towards a new and confident you.
Insecurity at its Core
Insecurity occurs most often when we worry and has several outlining factors. We have insecurities in jobs, friends, romance, and even in our living arrangement. We are always worrying that lightning can strike at any time, leaving us bent and broken. If we've had bad friendships and relationships in the past, those ghosts will certainly come to haunt us. If we’ve lost jobs, we may have a worry that we will always be fired from our current job. We are locked down and thrown to the grinder as long as we let insecurity control us. We must stand tall, and forget what holds us back in life. Quite simply, insecurity is the opposite of confidence.
Getting Rid of Insecurity
We must constantly reassure and ultimately love ourselves to get rid of insecurity. We must be comfortable with our own self image. This sounds easy to some but as we know it is often difficult for a person as we are self-conscious of both our inner and outer image. Although grooming is important, I will tell you anything outside of it is irrevelant. We are all beautiful and unique in outer appearance, and what matters the most is what's on the inside. The book cover does not matter: only what is wrote on the pages is what we should care about.
To build our confidence we must find out what is truly good about us. We must find morals, values, and interests and sculpt that into a positive self-image for ourselves. It will take quite some time of inner reflection to find the true you, but when you do, it will be like a breath of fresh air, as if you are a whole new person. Once we've made the positive self-image from ourselves we must reinforce it, constantly dwelling on the good in our life and those who love you for the real you, and respect and adore you. You will find many of those people in life, but some will know you for a moment, while the others will know you forever. Hold these people dearly, and your insecurity will never return, not even in your darkest dreams.
Conclusion
Insecurity is a deep topic I could write a book on, but we have covered some important information here today. You must, I say, you must respect yourself and only keep people around you that build you up. You are a wonderful person, with so much to give. Are you strong enough to not let people break you down? I don’t think anyone can put up with that for very long. It’s sad to say many do, staying in painful relationships and friendships for way too long. Be true to yourself and stop the emotional bleeding now. Find out about the good inside of you, and build that wonderfully secure and confident image of yourself today. You’ll be so happy after your inner self makeover. I know how special you are, and anyone would be thrilled to love you.
