Compassion: Human Understanding

Compassion: Human Understanding

Compassion is critical for people to live and relate to others in an appropriate and loving fashion. Do you have compassion for people? Then there is a good chance you have friends. Compassion is something that is similar to sympathy, but I do not want it considered as pity, as pity can be seen as something negative. Sympathetic concern for the undoings of other must always come from the heart. To show concern for others and their misfortunations is something saintly, as only someone with a true heart would feel compassion.

Compassion: What is it exactly?

Compassion: Sympathetic pity and concern for others and their sufferings and misfortunes.

Pity: The feel of sorrow and compassion caused by the sufferings and misfortunes of others.

It’s not to say that compassion amd pity are the same beast. We are human, and we feel emotion. Everyone one of us have a heart, whether it’s black and coal or made of gold. We are convicted to care about others: it's in our nature. We are both more than human and human at the same time. When do we feel compassion the most? When we've lived through the same situation as someone else we see. We lived through that hell, and we can feel honestly heart broken for someone else living through that hell. We are creatures who favor others over the rest of humanity. Don't believe in equal treatment, for it simply does not exist in this world.

Is it to say that compassion is some divine act? Yes, indeed it is. We are the interpreters of intervention in this world, as we know that ourselves are the only ones who can maintain this broken place we call home. If we feel that one bit of sorrow for someone else in their time of need, I believe that a star is born. We are stars, no matter where we walk, as the strongest amongst us do not wear a crown.

Compassion can never be faked. We are not truly ever just “being nice” as if we are being nice there must be some act of compassion involved. I don't be nice to people and feel sorrow for their woes merely because I'm being nice, I do it because I love them and feel truly bad for them. I am not someone to give away my heart for no reason. It’s trying for most, too, as they have their own issues. We live in a world that has a rapid pace, and we tend to break down. Was anyone there when your world came crashing down? Then you’d know that karma exists, and you will be there for anyone else in their sorrow.

Compassion is a sublime state, as it is needed from individuals to keep good and positive energy flowing throughout the world. Karma is everything, as some call it the threefold law. Everything comes back to us, don’t you see? We are living in a cold, broken world. The least we can do is love one another and sow good seeds in the heart of men and women. Showing compassion is a way of spreading good to others. When we listen to ones concerns, it makes them feel better about themselves and their sitatuations. We need to do everything we can, as I do not believe this world is in the hands of anyone besides us. Man should not sit around waiting for some mythical figure to save them, as this is merely myth. We must take the fate of this world into our hands and help out everyone we can.
