Pacing and Endurance

Endurance vs Pacing

Life is a marathon, and you'll either finish hard or get lost in the back of the pack. We must be strong, and we must carry on. We are going to look at the aspects of both endurance and pacing. Endurance and pacing are thought of having to do with a race or a marathon, and life has much to do with a race or marathon. We are in it for the long run, and we must endure.

Life: Endurance

Endurance is defined as the act of not giving way during a difficult or painful situation. Life should ultimately be considered a difficult and trying situation. We must survive in both the sun and the rain, and endure through all. Endurance is a character trait, and one that is learned through attitude. Yes, that's right, your attitude has everything to do with endurance. Our attitude can make or break how we deal with the hardships of life. A dismal attitude will make us feel as if life is unbearable. A positive attitude will help us see the light on the dark of the midnight sky of life.

Endurance through attitude is a powerful way to handle everything that could be thrown at you in life. We must meditate upon positive things such as love and compassion if we ever can hope to keep a strong, enduring attitude. We are testaments to our own will, and true willpower comes from keeping a good, positive attitude. Endurance is everything when it comes to life. Positive attitudes and thoughts are the key.

Life: Pacing ourselves

We must pace ourselves in life. Pacing allows us to overcome life's challenge as they come along. A person who can balance the burden of life will go through it all unscathed. We must not try to go through life too quickly, for the one who balances life's load and takes breaks when needed will make it to the finish line. Pacing can involve many things including fitting into life leisure time or trips to parks. Nature is often the best cure to stress. I love observing animals and studying trees, as is this is one of the simple pleasures to living on this great planet. Although our world is corrupt, our planet is not. When we are outside, the quality of air is greater, and we just might be able to help balance that burden of life.

We can only hope to understand how grueling life really is. I do know that we are built to ensure life, but often do not know how. Life is 10 percent doing, and 90 percent how we react to it.  (A quote from an old friend.)  That means our attitude is critical to our well-being. Ever been devastated to something that happens to us in life? Then you'll understand fully how critical how our attitudes and reactions are in life. We are more than a creature enslaved to our emotions, for we are human.

Conclusion

We are creatures of habit, and life will bring you out of your shell, flipping your world upside down, and wishing to end your existence. Do not cry over what happens, and fight back. Pace yourself, and endure all.  Endurance is the key to standing life's trials, and pacing is critical. We have nothing to fear in life but exhausting ourselves. Realize that as enlightened beings we should not succumb to life's many challenges and burdens. Yet if you find yourself bogged down in life, please, remember to endure and pace yourself. It may be your only hope for making it to life's finish line.
