Keeping Your Mind's Garden Blooming

Keeping Your Mind's Garden Blooming
Our human mind is much like a garden. It takes time to nurture good seed and also we need to remove its weeds. We must make important decisions on what to plant inside our mental garden. Pests must be removed from our minds garden as well. In this article we will be illustrating analogies and highlighting how we must do each analogy or mental "task."
First Step: Planting Flowers
I'm sure we've all heard of a person "planting seeds" in a person's head. We don't want them to do that, we want to make careful decision to select and grow beautiful flowers in our inner garden. Things of beauty, like charity, virtue, love, and compassion are good choices to plant in our garden's first row. Diligence, patience, and sympathy are perfect for the second row. The third row should be filled with all sorts of wonderful things like joy, humility, and truth (trust.)

Second Step: Fertilizer
Our flowers inside our soul's garden must have food to grow. Things such as positive energy, creative output, and meditation can grow your plants. Also, belief, empathy, and good intention can help make your garden tower over others. Reinforcing the spirit is a must, as I believe all good things come from the spirit. My meditative time is to increase my spiritual strength, as I have grown quite tired of the old 9-5 run around in the west. If I can inspire one other person to do good then my garden will grow. We should not pass on our seeds to others but merely impart them with words that encourage.
Third Step: Garden Maintenance
Your inner garden needs someone to tend to the troubles that occur in any garden. Invaders are the enemies of our gardens, planting weeds and reproducing more pests. We must cut off the pests at the root. Tend your garden daily, always stand vigilant. Many will try to corrupt your garden, and you must not let any succeed. Always water your plants, but not too much. Let them have light so they can gain nourishment.
Fourth Step: Viewing our Plants
Our leafy green plants and beautiful flowers in our inner garden are meant to be enjoyed. We must stay in out inner garden and enjoy our plants and watch them grow. I mean, what's the point of planting these flowers if you can not see them yourself or let others see the beauty you have tended to so patiently and carefully?
Fifth Step: Preparing for the Winter
Your plants must be protected in times of snow and cold. You cannot let the weather take down your garden so hard to make flourish?  Protect them from the elements, and endure that not all of your crops will be lost in times of woe. Your garden is by far too valuable to your being to lose them to something so trivial.
Conclusion
Our inner garden is a very real thing. We are not like plant ourselves but good seed in our heart is very much so in a garden that resides in our precious soul. You have the power to plant trees, flowers, or even ferns. Feed your soul with your inner beauty. Sometimes, we are nothing more than a reflection of that garden surrounding our mansions we call a soul. You will not be hurt by the weather and let it kill what is sacred to you. You can become a better person, and you know what, I believe in each and everyone of you. Make your soul shine and attract the honeybees to help make your garden a place of unimaginable wonders.

"Life is 10 percent execution and 90 percent belief that you can do it."
