Everyone's Thoughts are Valuable
Everyone's thoughts are valid and should be listened to. This point has zero margin for error and it's a shame how often we don't abide to it. The principle is that if we are to have a free-thought world where everyone feels validated and are encouraged to actively participate in both society and politics. We don't have to agree with everyone's thoughts and ideas, but we should listen to the thoughts of the many because it takes everyone to run this busy and robust world. I can listen to someone's thoughts, and if I understand one part of the person better, then I have succeeded and my time listening to them is not in vain.
We form our thoughts perhaps on two factors: belief systems and the amount of knowledge that we have. Our thoughts differ from others, as even a dogmatic belief has many different thoughts and ideas formed from it. For example, law systems have a court system that governs the laws of society. In this court system you have the chance to state your case against the charges against you. This is one dogmatic system that accepts the freedom to dispute it's dogmatic nature. Free thought and idea sharing principles are much like this.
If we promoted each other thoughts are self-governing nature would become greater each time we listen to what others think. If I didn't respect other's thoughts then I would be a traitor to myself. All my beliefs and knowledge has came from being s life long student and scholar. I find that all knowledge at its core is second-hand. The only true, personal information is what comes from the heart. My emotions dictate ultimately how I feel and what I believe, meaning that also emotions play into the factors of peoples information and beliefs.
Has anyone ever told you your thoughts or beliefs didn't matter? Quite honestly, it hurts and it simply not true. A relationship itself is built off the fact that it takes more than one to make a whole. If I disrespect my loved ones thoughts I would devastate them and it's also a form of trying to psychologically captivate them. Being captive in the mind hurts almost as bad when we our hearts are held captive. Now, if I promote my loved ones thoughts and beliefs and they challenge my own thoughts and beliefs in a positive way, then that's more precious than rubies.
Everyone is fully capable of helping others. Not everyone can be helped, but if you say something of value and merit it may help them become better. Every lifestyle has one characteristic that differs it from other lifestyles. We call these people scum and don't allow them to socialize with us. This is the biggest criminal act we as a human race commit. What if we could find some sort of medium that could allow us to exchange ideas? Luckily, we do have one, and its been around since ancient times. The forum. Forums on the internet are readily accessible and contain great information that can be archived and viewed easily.
