The Emotional Response

      The Emotional Response

There is no doubt in my mind, no matter how hard we try to hide it, we feel living, powerful emotions. No matter how absent we seem, these driving forces exist. They come from the heart, the mind, good actions, whatever it may be. We struggle daily with them, and sometimes they even grant us strength to journey through life's obstacles. Men try to hide them, and woman hate them.

Did you know emotions can't be controlled? They can be contained, but never can they be mastered. They are an uncontrollable beast. May it be love, rage, or sorrow, they are there, pushing and guiding our actions. Can we ever become more than our emotions? Probably not. But I'm not here to tell you that.

What I am here to tell you is that we should never deny our emotions. Like any part of our mind nd body, they must be felt, and kept happy. They are mind altering, and behavior changing.  Our emotions are us. Without emotions we are an empty, hollow husk.  We live in a caustic world, and our emotional self is our escape.

Defining Emotional Strength

One who is emotionally strong knows the right to let their emotions shine. A caring mother, a loving wife, a helpful manager. Someone who has strong emotions knows when the chips are down and lets their "good side" take over. Friends support friends, and sometimes they need some emotional support. Men do cry, as do women. There is nothing wrong with being emotional, and women love an emotional guy. However, we live in a society where or oppressors condemn the emotional ones. Guard your emotions to the untrustworthy at all times.

I cannot remember a time when my emotions weren't "useful". Some men cry at the death of animals and abhor violence. Some people will make fun of you for that, but I won't. The truth of the matter is any grown man or woman would cry at the loss of a job or a friend, and quite all of that is superficial. If you believe in yourself and the next life. Any man can get a new job and there is life after death.

Where do Emotions Begin and End?

Emotions start when something becomes "dear" or "abhorring" to us.  When one side of the spectrum tips the balance of the other, we begin to "feel" (it's important to understand the middle or "grey" area won't cause emotions.) These emotions convict us. They are "powerful" and can make mortal men and women do great things. But where does it end?

Emotions never end. For some select people, it is a curse. Never would I wish for a person to have absolutely transparent emotions. There has to be a balance. Quite simply, some people don't have this balance. Many call these people "empaths." Furthermore, many would classify this people as psychics of a sort. I may add these people these people can be both male or female, despite the general consensus of the  population. These people feel on a different level compared to the average joe,  and are able to even develop abilities like dousing and telepathy based on their gift (or curse?)

 Conclusion

We have explored I'm this brief article emotions origins, placement, and anomalies created from the feelings that come from our heart. We have discussed the contrasting nature of emotions in women and men, and spoke briefly of secular society's view on emotions. Love them or hate them, they're a part of us. Be string and confident, for our emotions are better than we think.
