Ghosts And Their Haunts

   Ghosts And Their Haunts

Ghosts have been believed to haunt the world since as long as history can record. People are fascinated by them, and thousands of sightings are reported each day. Are we really haunted by the spirits of our ancestors? I am about to discuss things that will make even the bravest of people feel uneasy.

Ghosts live all around us. They can haunt locations for centuries. Even the town I live in has tales of famous hauntings. Let's talk about what makes the reality of ghosts a strong possibility as well as a quick checklist to see if your home is haunted.

Ghosts dwell in the places that are often tied into where they either lived or died. Houses, schools, prison facilities, hospitals, natural areas are some places they are noted to haunt, as well as cemeteries (as you could imagine.) Most often a human ghost is made through a murder or otherwise premature death. Ghosts are often seen sitting down or standing by a window, as if they are waiting for someone or something. Ghost can be both good or evil, and potentially have the ability to possess people. They can both materialize or disappear. They can float, appear as if they are walking, and pass right through objects. There is also reports of ghost cars and animals, but alas I cannot confirm either. These are all things people have reported for thousands of years.

Almost every famous religion states thar ghosts are real, including both Christianity and paganism (The two major religions at that.) Ghost and undead were stated to be real by both the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Druids. There is no denying the fact that ghosts are real.

 Is Your House Haunted Checklist

1. Has anyone died in your house?

2. Do you see or hear unexplainable things at night?

3. Do you feel uneasy in your home?

4. Do you feel as if you are being watched in your home?

5. Do objects ever move on their own accord?

6. Do things turn up missing from time-to-time?

7. Do your pets ever become upset or scared for seemingly no reason?

8.  Do the lights ever go out unexpectedly?

9.  Do pictures of loved ones ever move or fall down? (This applies mainly to families who had a person from their family die in the same home they are residing in.)

If you answered yes to any of these questions, there is a good chance your place may have a ghost living there with you.

Two Theories Of Why Ghosts Exist

Ghost may exist because they weren't given a full life. It may be some sort of divine pardon. I do not understand why men and women lose their life early, but my heart goes out to both the deceased and the friends and family of the deceased. There is nothing worst than death. You may argue that statement, but if you did your argument would be false, as for death is the final moment of a person's life. A ghost is still in some sort of living state, but it would seem it be a living nightmare to know you will never exist the way you were before.

The other theory is that people are turned into a ghost or spirit to watch over a friend or family members or to deliver a divine message. This would make sense and fit ghosts and spirits into some sort of religious role.

That's all we have for today! Happy Halloween and be sure to drive safe, wherever you may be! May all my readers become enlightened and wise, and know that we are not alone!
