Moral Division
Morality is a topic in which many people are divided upon these days. Many issues have divided our great nation and even the world. These issues appear daily in our news broadcasts and all over every type of media we can name. Its time we lay away our differences and embrace each other. I am absolutely tired of our world and our fellow inhabitants being torn apart by propaganda. This broken world crumbles apart more and more each day, and this emotional and mental civil war must end. Let peace rule our hearts and minds.
Morality at its Core
Morality differs from person to person. However, morality is not a canvas that can be shaped to an image where we see fit. Morality is black and white. There is a difference between being open minded and knowing right and wrong. Evil is evil. Why do we have these ideals that differ from one another? Why are we so easily influenced by religion? Would any loving god make you hate and sell out your own friends, family, and fellow human being?
But there is one issue I will take a stand on. Animal cruelty. It must end. We are hunting species down to the point of extinction for that evil god we call money. Would you hunt me down if it meant there was money involved? I bet you wouldn't, along with the simple reason you don't have what it takes. Animals have rights too and to be quite honest hunters to me are nothing more than serial killers in disguise.
The paragraph above was a mere example of what morality can do to people and how it can divide one another. You may of not liked the above statement but this is a karmic blog. If you thought this was anything else you're probably here for the wrong reasons.
This section has been both an example of a moral one person holds and an example of how it may divide people. People become separated over the smallest of things and we need to understand today's morality issues are not uniting us. Will we let the issues of today's broken world destroy our family unit and turn our friends against us?
A Cure
There is a way to end all this division. Instead of engaging in arguments and participating in demonstrations and all the other silly ideas of this broken world, why not make a vow to stop warring against our fellow human beings and love one another? You can't divide someone agaimst one another when love is involved. Love is color blind and can heal the greatest of wounds. Without love, there would be no hope, and without hope we would have nothing.
Love is something that should be freely given. Compassion is the tool of a wise man, and we have everything at our disposal to heal this world and its people. When it comes to things like gay rights, animal protection, and abortion we are so divided. We clash and engage in verbal wars, where each side storms off angry. What of your virtue? I see none! If you are protesting over what is your moral opinion, then why do you hate those who disagree with you? I am very aware others will disagree with even me, and it doesn't bother me one bit. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and we should respect that.
Concluding Words
Forget our division, and remember what brings us together. I know it's so hard to take a stand against all these civil arguments when all of your friends are playing that ridiculous game, but you are better than that. You are a loving, compassionate being who is sympathetic to all. Rise above all this hate in disguise we call moral issues.
