The weight of the world can bog anyone down. There is just so much to do in this life to do and so little time to do it in. We are constantly busy each and every day. The weight of the world can make any strong man or woman drop to their knees and weep. How one deals with this enormous burden varies from person to person. Some people really don't deal with it at all.
There isn't any real way to deal with the weight of the world. All we can do is prepare for each day and recover our strength. He weight of the world consists of numerous things. The average person works a job, drives a vehicle and fills up its tank, shops for necessities, maintains both familiar and friendly relationships, cooks food to consume for both themselves and perhaps others, pursues entertainment and also rests. We have to find the time to juggle all these activities, and let's face it there's just not enough time. What is one to do with the oppressive weight on our shoulders?
Relentlessly pursue whatever your spiritual aspects might be. Your spiritual aspects are whatever you enjoy. Your spirit is comprised of your likes and desires. If I was to say my spirit is comprised of many aspects including my love of writing, reading and animals, I am right. It's that simple. The pursuit of happiness is a wonderful thing. Embrace your spirit and feed it regularly. You'll feel lighter. After all, a spirit is weightless and free.
When the weight of the world has you down and out, listen to your spirit. What does it say? Is it telling you to slow down? Does it need nourishment? Is it telling you to relax? Your spirit knows just what you need. Do you hear it even now? Is it telling you to rest? To relax with your family? To go hang out with your friends? The burden on your shoulders will disappear as your "spirits" are lifted once more. Think of your spirit as your heart. They both yearn for certain things and have needs. If either your heart or spirit are unfed then your psyche will degrade.
Stay true to your spirit as it is essential to lift the weight of the world off your shoulders. Calm yourself and listen to your spirit. Give in to its desires and fulfill them, one by one. Rest when needed as your spirit will take you to the ends of the earth. (Would that be a wandering spirit?) Worldly pleasures are far less pleasing than spiritual desires.
